History Club  - A group for all grade levels, designed to make students responsible for important and entertaining events at the school, like the Veterans Day Assembly, bringing a Holocaust survivor in from the United States Holocaust Museum to speak to our school. The group has also organized a "Guitar Hero" tournament.

Impact Prevention - a program or organization (often community or school-based) that focuses on educating and empowering young people, families, and communities to make safe, healthy, and positive choices. Its goal is to prevent risky behaviors—such as substance abuse, underage drinking, impaired driving, violence, and other destructive decisions—by giving students knowledge, coping strategies, and leadership opportunities.
The “impact” comes from helping youth see how their decisions affect not only themselves but also their friends, families, and the community. Prevention programs like this often use:
  • Student-led activities (peer mentoring, campaigns, events)
  • Education and awareness on topics like mental health, substance misuse, and safe decision-making
  • Positive alternatives to risky behaviors
  • Community involvement to build strong support systems
In short, Impact Prevention works to reduce negative behaviors and build stronger, healthier schools and communities by encouraging positive choices and leadership.

Sources of Strength - a nationally recognized, evidence-based program designed to promote mental health, build resilience, and prevent issues such as suicide, violence, bullying, and substance misuse.
The program works by training peer leaders and connecting them with trusted adults to create a culture of hope, help, and strength within schools and communities. Instead of focusing only on risks, it highlights protective factors—called the “Sources of Strength Wheel”—which include:
  • Family Support
  • Positive Friends
  • Mentors
  • Healthy Activities
  • Generosity
  • Spirituality
  • Medical Access
  • Mental Health
Through campaigns, activities, and peer-to-peer encouragement, students learn to lean on these strengths in both good times and hard times.

Mu Alpha Theta (Math Club) - The National High School and two-year college Mathematics Honor Society with over 75,000 student members in more than 1,500 schools. We are dedicated to inspiring keen interest in mathematics, developing strong scholarship in the subject, and promoting the enjoyment of mathematics in high school and two-year college students.

Prom Committee - Prom Committee is comprised of any interested Junior willing to take part in fundraising, monthly meetings, and decorating for the prom.  From the beginning of the year until February, the Prom Committee focuses on fundraising.

All members are required to do a specified amount of fundraising and to be in attendance at meetings in order to be appointed to the Decorating Sub-Committee.  Decorating takes place the week before the prom in the high school gym.

Appointed students decorate at certain times during the school day, as well as after school.  One benefit of being on Prom Committee is that members receive a discount on prom tickets.
